At 11 am in front of the Memorial War museum of Bayeux is held a mass in English to commemorate the liberation of the city by the allies (British)

Bayeux Freedom Ball June 7, 2013

The first town to be freed in France celebrates June 7, 1944 commemoration.
A festive picnic (bring your own or buy it locally), a free concert and ball are organized.

Bayeux Medieval Festivities July 6 & 7, 2013

People parade the streets in costumes from Medieval times, performances and concerts dominate throughout the city and there is a Medieval ball! When it comes to feasting this is the time to come.
